St. Patrick's Day Crafts in Newport, NH

Saturday, Feb 17 from 10am-2pm -- Library Arts Center Gallery, 58 N. Main St. Newport, NH -- Drop-in any time for a fun time crafting projects in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. Artist Pam LaFountain will guide participants of all ages in making some simple leprechaun and shamrock-themed crafts. All materials provided. FREE!

Magic of Maple in Woodstock, VT

Saturday, Feb 17 thru Sunday, Feb 25 from 10am-4pm -- Billings Farm & Museum, 53 Elm St, Woodstock, VT -- Learn all about maple syrup traditions in Vermont. Vermont’s rich maple history will be on display through photographs from the Top Acres Farm and Billings Farm collection, and a showcase of tools used for tapping, sugaring, and processing. Guests can sample sugar on snow, learn about maple trees and why they produce their sweet sap, and participate in children’s stories, crafts, maple recipes, and more.
